Women's and Gender Studies Certificate

The Department of Women’s and Gender Studies is pleased to offer a Graduate Certificate in Women’s and Gender Studies. This interdisciplinary certificate is designed to meet the needs and interests of students across the university, including those enrolled in Ph.D., MA, and professional programs. The certificate is also open to members of the North Carolina public interested in this course of study (undergraduate degree completion required).

Non-Course Certificate Requirement

  • Participation & contribution to the Department:

    Examples of how students can “participate and contribute” to the Department include events and teaching. For example, students can attend a WGST-sponsored event, participate in a presentation of original research, or TA-ing for WGST 101.
