Healthcare Management Certificate

Overview 

The certificate requires a minimum of 9 credit hours over 12-15 months (one course per semester) that provides core health management competencies for emerging healthcare leaders. Participants will develop skills in understanding, measuring, and leading successful healthcare units at levels appropriate to their career stage. For those without previous Master’s level training, certificates may also meet core requirements for the Residential or Executive Masters of Health Administration in Health Policy and Management. Please note that HPM 728 (4 credits) can be substituted with HPM 730 (3 credits) and HPM 753 (4 credits) can be substituted with HPM 754 (3 credits).
