Course Requirements
Code | Title | Hours |
---|---|---|
To earn the certificate, students will need to complete a minimum of five courses in math or science with a grade of B or higher in each course (STEM courses with labs are considered a single course, for the lab is a co-requisite of the course). Students' course work will begin once they have been accepted to the certificate program; no transfer credit of courses is permitted. Students can repeat a course, but it will only count once towards the five required courses. Students will work with a Graduate School admissions and enrollments specialist to select the courses that are appropriate to their goals. As long as the courses are in the science and math areas, there are no specific courses required to earn the Certificate. In addition to working with an adviser, students should also check the requirements of the health profession program or position in which they are interested to determine which courses are required or preferred. Pre-health Certificate students are limited to a maximum of twelve credit hours per semester. | ||
