Overview
provides a unique opportunity for student pharmacists to learn how to develop new ambulatory care services during their Doctor of Pharmacy training. Key components of the Ambulatory Care Certificate include a robust curriculum, a mentoring program, professional advocacy, and interprofessional education. Certificate courses will focus on foundations of ambulatory care, special populations in ambulatory care, and developing and sustaining services that will serve as a strong foundation for pursuing careers and postgraduate programs in outpatient settings. The nine-credit hour certificate will consist of four required courses, which includes a capstone project, and a minimum of one (1) ambulatory care-focused elective.
